I love having a happy baby!  If I had known that babies can be like Baby Doll is when Little Man was a baby, I might have traded him in!  Then I would have missed such an enjoyable child.  These are truly the days of fun motherhood.  I enjoy both of my children each day.  Little man loves to play, play, play.  He cannot get enough of it.  He surprised me today when he sat and did five puzzles all by himself.  Oh, I knew that he could do the puzzles; he’s been doing that for a while.  What was impressive is that he completed one puzzle at a time and then didn’t throw the pieces everywhere!  I love having a boy!

Today Baby Doll realized that she can squeal.  She spent most of the day squealing, laughing, and cooing.  That is, when she was not eating.  She loves to mock the sounds I make.  I caught her (in picture) during one of her squeal sessions.  She’s not much of a napper.  She squeezes one in here and there but never at the same time each day.  However, Baby Doll is sleeping ALL NIGHT!  Oh, yes, to all of my fellow friends that had first children like mine.  You know, the ones that never slept through the night or day for that matter.  There is hope!

One of the coolest things right now is Baby Doll has started watching Little Man play.  She is beginning to be fond of him, and he just can’t get enough of her.  They are such blessings.  Pray for My Love, Little Man, Baby Doll, and me as we adjust to being apart for a while.  We need them.

I think my kids are so precious in this picture.  We took this picture on Mother’s Day, which was when we had Baby Doll’s baby dedication.  It was a sweet time.  Most of our family was able to attend.  It was special for us to be able to have her dedication before we moved too far for others to come.  As you can see, Little Man adores his sister.  He just cannot get enough of her.  He tries to take care of her like we do and doesn’t quite understand why he can’t.  His heart is so tender.  He’s a GREAT big brother.
